Luke had a big day, a big big day. Luke graduated from Tiny Tots!First all the graduates marched in, followed by their younger classmates. Luke was very somber for the serious occasion. When it was his turn, they announced that Luke was going to be a firefighter when he grows up.
The little girl above was so cute. She was experiencing huge stage fright, poor thing. Singing in front of all those folks was just more than she could handle.Luke's, best buddy Logan was also a the graduation, though he has another year of Tiny Tots.
They sang a bunch of darling songs for us - songs about monkeys and bananas and such. Those kids were just darling, and Luke came out of his somber mood to have a lot of fun with his crazy songs. He did a great job!
One song he sang was: "Graduation day, graduation day, graduation day is finally here!" Yay! It sure is!
Luke is really going to miss seeing Logan everyday! And I am going to miss them carpooling together, because carpooling meant I got to see my own buddy everyday - his mommy, Shari!
Introducing Luke VanBuskirk - Kindergartener!
The Tiny Tot teachers love these kids so much, and always go out of their way to make graduation really special for these little guys. Miss Kristen gave all the kids their own little Pickles the Pig, the class pet, with their name on it. They also made them each a scrapbook with pictures all through the year. It is so nice! I can't believe they made one for each kid. We love the teachers at Tiny Tots!!! Thank you Miss Kristin, Miss Maria, and Miss Llubi!
And of course, there was lunch. Luke sat with his pal Evelyn. The teachers even made cute little cookie pops for each of the graduates.
We are so happy for you, Lukie-loo! It is so fun to watch you grow! This the first graduation of many, but they will never be as colorful and fun as this one, I'm sure.
After having all 6 of my children attend Tiny Tots, it is bittersweet for me to see it all end. I am so grateful that we had access to such a wonderful yet affordable program for our children. The program has just gotten better and better over the years, and my children have benefited from all of it. It was so fun to pick them up each day and see their smiling faces and their absolutely adorable and clever crafts that they made, and hear them chatter on and on about all about the wonderful things they did that day and sing all the darling songs they learned.Thank you Tiny Tots. The VBs are going to miss you.
Oh, and congrats Luke, our super star graduate!
