My Lettermen

1/10/13

Alex and Nate got their Christmas presents a little late - January late!  But they will both tell you that it was worth the wait.  Alex and Nate got their letterman's jackets!  My handsome lettermen!

Both Alex and Nate earned their varsity letters in academics, swimming, and water polo!  What choice did we have?  All those letters had to go somewhere, plus those two boys were always so awfully cold.

I'm glad they are happy.  They should be.  Those jackets were WAY expensive!  And we didn't even add on all the bells and whistles.  I have been more and more amazed at how expensive teenagers are!!!  Holy cow!  And I used complain about how expensive diapers are.  I could have boughten a whole lot of diapers for the price of 2 letterman's jackets.  And I have 2 more kids entering high school in a few months.  Remind me to encourage them not to be the overachievers that their big brothers are - save us some big money.

Get used to seeing these boys in these purple jackets because in order to get our money's worth, they are going to wear them every single day until the weather hits, oh, I don't know... 100 degrees, maybe.  Hot stuff!

Catch Up Time!

Well, it has been a while since I have worked on my blog- obviously.  I guess life just got the best of me.  But even if I haven't been posting, I have certainly been taking pictures, and now my computer is totally stuffed! It can't eat another photo!  The time has come for me to do some catching up on my blog.

The problem when you fall behind is deciding how exactly to catch up, and knowing where exactly to begin - again.  I think the best thing to do is start with the beginning of 2013 and work my way current, and then when I get caught up, I will go back and fill in what I have missed in 2012 and 2011.

I would say that I hope nobody minds, but I'm pretty sure nobody will possibly mind because I'm pretty sure nobody reads Boys-R-Us anymore, so I can do whatever I want, right?  Besides, I do this for me, for my family, and for its historical value.  A blog is a great way to get our photos and stories organized and documented, and if anybody happens to drop on by and take a peek, all the better.

So here we go.
