Blast from the Past

I didn't realize that you could get them from church distribution, but somehow our primary has gotten a hold of a real working time machine, and every week or so, one of our favorite scripture heros uses it to come by for a visit. A date is set, buttons are pushed, lights flash, and someone from the scriptures appears in the flesh to the whole primary. The kids get a kick out of it, and never now who it will be.

A few months ago this guy arrived to the delight of the kids. Any idea who it might be? I'm thinking from the Liahona he is holding that it must be Father Lehi, though he looks an awfully lot like Dennis. He cam and told the children all about his travels in the wilderness, his sons (the righteous and the rotten), his dream, and how they came to the promised land.

A few weeks ago I happen to know that Queen Esther herself arrived. the kids were quite impressed to be in the presence of the queen of Persia. She told them all about how she became queen, and how she saved her people.

(It was a pretty sweet gig - to be queen for a day! And the costume - I actually wrapped myself in the window treatment from my bedroom. Whatever works, right?)
