Belt Test- Kicking and Screaming!

On the very same day Luke had his Tint Tot graduation, Luke also had his very first belt test. I told you it was a big, big day for him! (but he seemed to handle the pressure just fine.)

Luke has been a white belt for an entire year, and he has been looking forward to getting his yellow belt for a long, long time. And now, after a whole lot of kicking and screaming, the day had finally arrived.

Caleb also got to test for his green belt. He is coming right along.

Luke did his form perfectly (see video below), showed his stuff at the bag as well, and then got his chance to break a board. It took him a few tries, but the 16th time was the charm (also in video below). Hey, as long as he breaks it, right? He was super proud of what he did!

I guess sometimes you really do get what you want by kicking and screaming.

Please note: Caleb took the video of Luke and Luke took the video of Caleb, therefore there was very little usable video of Caleb. Sorry, buddy, but nice camera work.
