Tea Par-tay

Last Tuesday we attended a Tea Party rally at the Palm Desert Park, along with my parents and my sister's family.  The rally was great, but held the kids' attention for all of 3 minutes before they ran off to the pond to play.  I followed with camera in tow.  Here are some shots I captured.

I think I am getting better at this photography thing.  I know one thing for sure - it is tons of fun to practice, practice, practice.

And I'm thinking if we didn't have to pay so many taxes, I might just be able to do my part to stimulate the economy by buying a few new camera lenses, take a few classes, etc.  Just saying.

Rachelle! These are beautiful. Sometimes I worry I'm losing creativity as I get more aware of all the technicalities... Your photos look fresh-- I love your composition.. I love your niece's blowing hair.... great job! I know... if only this stuff wasn't so expensive huh?

The pictures do look great! I didn't end up going to Utah's tea party because, well, it was snowing! Glad you got some good shots of the kids!
