Hurrah for the Pirate King!

Last week Nathan was in his middle school musical - The Pirates of Penzance! Nathan had a great role as the swashbuckling Pirate King! (He is being type cast as the villain. He has been a Nazi officer, a murderer, and now a pirate. But that is a good thing, because the bad guys are always the funnest parts to play!)

Plus the Pirate King gets his very own song! "I am the Pirate King! Hurrah for the Pirate King!" (see video at bottom of this post.)

Nathan did a terrific job! He was a natural on stage and kept in character the whole time.

It was an action-filled musical adventure, and I enjoyed every minute of each of the tree performances. All the kids did a great job!

A special thanks to all of our friends and family who came to support Nate and watch the show!

Enjoy the short clip of Nate's song below. Hurrah for the Pirate King!

"What a glorious thing it is to be a Pirate King!"

What a great experience for him. It's nice when your children find something they like and they are good at it. Sorry i never made it to see it. At least a part of me did :)
