What started as finger painting, well... spread.
And onto his back, though I am fairly confident he had help. I don't think he could have possible put this on his own back.
This was just too fun! I had to just let him go for it and take a few very colorful pics at the same time. (I love this one!)
Ah, the accomplice, caught green handed. Call forensics. I'm sure the hand print will match the one we found on Luke's back.
Is anything more fun than mixing paint with your bare hands? All of those fluorescent colors mixed into this bluish green.
One thing you must understand about Luke is that when he colors, he is very thorough - always having to cover every bit of paper, or in this case, flesh! Caleb was a little too eager to help!
Well, the native got restless, especially when I threatened to hose him down. (He took off his underwear because he didn't want to get his underwear wet. Silly kid!) Then I had to chase the slippery, slimy Avatar down and get him into the tub.
This picture totally cracked me up! Doesn't it look like the avatar clone bodies in the movie when they are "sleeping". That is exactly what he was doing. I told him he couldn't get out of the tub until he was totally clean, but he refused to let me wash his hair and face, so I couldn't let him out. He was crying and carrying on while I was there in the bathroom getting ready. Suddenly he stopped crying, and I turned around to find this.
Another favorite pic!
Does this remind you of one of those natives in Avatar? Me too! Only instead of a loincloth, Nemo Under-Roos.
He was totally asleep! Hilarious!
(Don't you just love all the paint on the side of the tub, and the color of that bath water? )
I've learned as a parent that sometimes you just have to let your kids paint their pits...
... and then grab your camera.

love that last pic! I admit... I don't know if I would have let my kids paint themselves like that :) I love that you did!
LOOOOVE it!
And that is why you are a mom to 6 boys and I am not! There a some people who can handle that and others who can't. I think I would have had a nervous break down
Hilarious. Makes me want to paint myself. The tub part was too funny. You are one nice mommy to let him do this. I think it would be fun - as long as it is washable and stays outside!!!
