Vamoose Guitar Hero. The Van Clan has a new favorite Wii game - Samba de Amigo!!!It is so fun - like a mix between Guitar Hero and Dance, Dance Revolution - with a Latin twist!
You have to shake the maracas, up, down, and everywhere to the beat of the music. You have to strike Latin pose for added points. The maracas are played by the cutest monkey in a sombrero. It is so colorful and the Latin rhythm music is terrific!
You can even hit a pinata or play "Guacamole" - a Latin version of Whack-a-Mole.

Cha Cha Cha!!!
We first played Samba Samba on Friday night. Dennis took all the boys on a camping trip, but poor Dylan couldn't go because of his IV, etc. He was really, really bummed. So I let him plan our evening. Dylan, Luke, and I watched a 3D movie, ate take-out Chinese, drank hot chocolate, and played Samba Samba until very late. We all had a great time much more fun than sleeping in the dirt in the cold. Does that kid know how to plan a fun evening, or what?Ole!

We either have or have had that game and the kids love it. It is a blast though I am still and rock band devotee.
