On Friday night Dennis tested for his brown belt.
A week before he didn't know his form, but he worked very hard with the help of Dylan and myself, and was able to learn it and pull it off for the test.
I'm so proud of him for pulling it off.
Sparring is Dennis favorite part of Tae Kwan Do (my
least favorite part, BTW). He really goes at it. He did a terrific job with a variety of kicks and several really high kicks to the head. He was really streached out because I have never seen him kick so high. Impressive!
He got to break 3 thick boards, but was glad he didn't have to break a brick with his fist (he has done it before, and never wants to do it again!)
Now he is a brown belt! Yay! What a good example he is to his boys. We are so proud of Mr. Brown!
