My First Baby Photo Shoot

Last week I got to try my very first baby photo shoot when I went to visit my brother's beautiful new two week old baby Zola.  I learned really quick that taking pictures of babies is HARD!  I had to take about a million, and only got a handful that I really like.  The more pictures I take, the more I realize I need to learn.  Anyway, here are a few of my favorites.

My little boys were just fascinated by that sweet baby!

I snapped this one at the zoo.  Precious.

Elizabeth is such a beautiful mom.

And a few pics of  Zo's big brother Jon.

That proud daddy is my baby brother.

This almost made we want to have another baby, just for the chance to get that little girl.  I said 'almost'.

Not bad for a first try, Shel! I can only imagine how difficult it is to take pictures of babes. I have a cousin with a photography business and she takes some AMAZING pictures of babies if you want to check out her blog for ideas... its: http://www.lindsaywrightphotography.com/ and

hope these help (not that you need it!)

How precious those pictures are. You captured our little Zoey. It makes me miss her so much. Happily, we will see her this weekend.

Those pictures are beautiful. I love baby Zola's buns. You have a gift Shelly. I'm so glad I got to meet that sweet baby a few weeks ago.

I love those! I also love the fact that they named her Zola after her amazing Grandmother. I think you did a great job despite your disclaimer! Yet another talent you have...how did you have the time to stand in so many talent lines in heaven? ....you probably had the time management talent there already! :)
