Another hard day.
Dylan had surgery this afternoon, to clean out the infection in his hip. Again.
I'm too tired and emotionally drained to say much tonight.
They gave Dylan a ton of morphine for his pain. My friends and family gave me a ton of prayers and well wishes for mine. Thank You!

Shelly, I am so sorry!! We are praying for you at every prayer and in our hearts all day long. We love you all so much. Keep up the faith. You are not alone. So many people love you, Dylan, Dennis, Alex, Nathan, Derrek, Caleb and Luke. Heavenly Father loves you and your family too. He is there helping you with the hard times. Next time someone with the priesthood comes by, get a blessing!
We love you!
Lisa and family
I'm so sorry :( Lots of prayers coming your way.
I just wanted to let you know that your family is in my prayers. I haven't stopped thinking about you since Lisa Caress told me about Dylan last week. She shared your story with me because I've been going through a hard time as well... my baby has been in the NICU for the past 4 weeks at Desert Regional. Luckily she didn't have to go to Loma Linda, so I feel for you having to trek that far. At least you know he's in good hands (that's what people keep telling me about my baby, but it doesn't always help, especially being the over anxious paranoid parent that I am!) I hope you don't mind that I've been reading your blog. Your words have been inspirational and helped me get through my own trial. I love that you find the good (and the humor)when you can, but that you aren't afraid to share when things aren't so good. Hang in there.
We love you! You have an amazing family and we are praying for you all. I wish I could give you a hug and take away your pain. You are a strong soul and I know God loves you very much.
Shelly, we love you so much. You are a wonderful wonderful mother and you have a wonderful wonderful family. We are always praying for you.
Shelly, once again I am so sorry. Dylan is such a strong kid. You are such a strong mom. My family which includes all my sister and brother and all their kids (so you know thats a lot.) Are all praying for you and Dylan. We love you Shel and Dylan.
My mom just called from DC and asked how Dylan was doing and put his name on the prayer roll in the DC temple. We are all praying for you guys. Where is my magic wand to send this all away?? Love ya.
Thank you so much for blogging and letting us know how Dylan and you are doing. We think about you every day and like everyone else, Dylan is in our prayers every night. We hope this is the last surgery and that you two can come home soon. Hang in there!
Staci and family.
