I am one happy mama. Yesterday my sweet hubby surprised me with a new computer - a MacBook just for me!!! I have always shared the computer with my kids, and recently this arrangement just wasn't working - too many people wanting to use one computer (the older they get, the more they need to use it), the computer kept running out of memory, and was packed with who-knows-what that the boys accidentally, or purposefully uploaded, kids messing with stuff they shouldn't touch. I was having some real problems and getting very frustrated. So my good man sensed my need and took action (HERO!). Surprise! He told me it is my early Christmas present, and even my birthday present too (I hope he means a late birthday present, not an early one!). Needless to say am completely thrilled and feel like a kid on Christmas morning. I am having a ball playing with my new toy when I should be packing for our trip tomorrow. Oh well. Dennis, you've done it again! Thanks Santa!

Christmas in July!!!

That is one good husband you have. My husband is wonderful but when it comes to fun surprises like Christmas in July, he needs a little help. Dennis, did you talk about this at Scout Camp? Next reunion, okay? :)
Hey that's cool I want a MacBook. Don't think I'll get one since I just got a Mac desk top for xmas. :) Great husband to sense the need and fix the problem. :)
Wow! Can Dennis talk to Cody? My computer is getting so slow, but I think it has a little bit to do with everything I'VE put on it; can't blame it totally on my kids, but I'd love a fun surprise like that! I loved catching up on your blog and love your background. Where did you find that? Loved the swimming post (you rock) and loved, loved the conversation with Caleb. You have such a great sense of humor and it makes reading your blog so much fun! I'm trying to catch up and you've inspired me to do better!
