Spring Birthday Boys

We have two birthday boys in the Spring.  This year Luke turned 6 and Nate turned 15.  As you know, Luke celebrated his birthday in style with not one, but two trips to Disneyland.

But he also got a chance a few days later to open some presents and blow out 6 candles.

Nathan's birthday was a month later.  Nathan's birthday came at a crazy busy time around Easter, so unfortunately we didn't do a whole lot, even though this year was his year to get a big birthday bash (we do every odd year).  But Nathan couldn't make up his mind what he wanted to do and time passed and nothing happened.  The only thing he could decide is that we wanted my homemade pizza, which I was happy to oblige, and the only gift he could think of to ask for was some purple duct tape which Dylan presently made into a hat for him.  Homemade pizza and a purple duct tape hat.  MAn that kid is easy to please!
I felt guilty about that, so I also got him some Darth Vadar pjs.  Um, yeah, not exactly a trip to Disneyland.  Sorry Nate.

But don't feel too bad for him.  His dad gave him a whole wad of cash, and now he has just got to make up his mind what to get with it.  And as soon as he decides what kind of party he wants to have, we will make that happen too.  Meanwhile, you gotta appreciate a man who is satisfied with pizza and a purple hat.

HAppy Birthday Nate!  You are an awesome kid and I love to see the man that you are becoming.
