I just made a discovery on a mundane errand to return stuff to Michael's! My new happy place - Clementine. It is a new French patisserie in Palm Desert, right next to Trader Joe's, and it is tre magnifique!
I had to come back the next day, with my mom and my camera! I love taking pictures of food!

The owners were delightful people! He is from France and she an American who grew up in Italy. It was so much fun talking to them.
Mom and I shared a pear tart and a cannoli. They were both fabulous!!! We spent an hour there, and it was like a mini-vacation to Paris! I was happy the rest of the day! Still am.
Happy about my new happy place!
