Next stop, Rexburg and the beautiful new Rexburg Temple overlooking the BYU-Idaho campus. There we also made a quick visit to Dennis' lovely cousin Melissa and her great husband Jack. They were so sweet to invite our whole crew into their darling little apartment there is Rexberg. We miss them and it was so fun to stop over for a bit before our final leg to Yellowstone National Park.
We arrived at Yellowstone National Park at dusk, so we really didn't see much of it that first night as we drove to the campground. When we got to the campground, they were just about to close the office. They told us our reservations were not until tomorrow and that the campground was full. We were so miserably tired and hungry, and the thought that we have to drive another hour or so out of the park to the nearest town to find a hotel was devastating. Luckily they finally located an available campsite. It was so late and we had to be out by 10 am, so we only set up one tent, ate canned stew, and slept in our clothes because we were so tired and didn't want to unload the top of the car just to have to load it all up and strap it all down in the morning.

Yeah!! Idaho Falls is the temple we were married in! Have you ever been in?
I was showing Alan your pictures... I think it may have made him homesick... post some more! I'm trying to talk him into going home for the holidays ;)
We are so glad you stopped and saw us. That was so much fun! I am glad you had a good trip. So what happened with the mountain lion?? That sounds scary! Well we miss you! Can't wait to see you guys again!
Wow! Your blog is amazing. That is neat we ended up in Yellowstone just weeks apart from one another. I was memorized by the park. What type of camera do you have? Your pictures were very impressive.
